Welcome to the 2011 Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition, one of the most exciting events ever staged at Avalon.
Avalon2011 will celebrate several military and commercial aviation milestones.
The Royal Australian Air Force, one of the oldest independent air forces in the world, will celebrate its 90th anniversary at Avalon.
The 2011 Airshow will also mark a major milestone in the event’s history. It will be the tenth event staged at Avalon Airport since the first airshow was held at the venue in 1992.
The birth of commercial aviation as we know it will also be recognised at Avalon2011. The event will celebrate the centenary of Australia’s first passenger flight.
Location
The Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition 2011 will be held at Avalon Airport.
Avalon Airport is situated on the Princess Freeway, between Melbourne and Geelong; it is approximatively 55kms from the Melbourne CBD and 18kms from the centre of Geelong.
The site is well marked and access is easy.

The 2011 Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition will be held over six days, from Tuesday 1 March to Sunday 6 March.
Presence
EADS presents its systems and products on a total surface of 132 sqm in the hall A, stand no. 1H12.
In addition to EC’s presence with models and plasma screen on the EADS stand, Australian Aerospace will be participating with 3 corporate chalet units, studio and static display area.
